Mario Chu, or Mr. Mario as the kids call him, has been the custodian at Frances J. Warren Elementary for the last 10 years, but he means so much more to the school than just his job description. Staff say Mario is always in a good mood, very dependable, and always willing to help beyond what's asked of him. During lunch, he helps students open up tight containers or hard-to-open food packages, and the students adore him. He is a well-loved member of the Warren community.

Twins Beth Romero and Melina Montiel, who both work at Warren Elementary, were surprised on October 1 for their 40th birthday! Staff and parents stopped by to deliver balloons — some completely random and funny — to celebrate their milestone birthday.
