Welcome Back Warren Families!
School year 2022-2023 here we come!  Warren teachers are so excited and have been busy setting up their classrooms to welcome you to a new year.
TUSD is still monitoring the Covid cases and currently Pima County is in the Medium Risk.  Masks are recommended but not required.  Warren will continue to clean high touch areas throughout the day, disinfect often, and social distance as much as possible.  To continue to keep our students and staff healthy and safe Warren will continue to restrict adult access on campus except for special occasions, performances, and meetings with the teachers.  Extra masks for students and adults will be available in the front office if needed.   To help keep your child safe, Warren will not allow parents/guardians/family members to wait for their child(ren) in the hallways, foyers, or front office area.  The office area will be for those needing to pick up their children earlier that dismissal for appointments.  Please, if your child is not feeling well, keep them home.

Warren will continue with the Covid Pool testing this year.  If you signed up last year, you DO NOT need to sign up again.  If you are interested in sign up for your child to be tested every week, please go to
https://testcenter.concentricbyginkgo.com/minor-consent and the access code is TUSD-WARREN. Warren will be testing on Thursday’s again this year.  Our first testing will be Thursday, August 18th.

Starting School Year 2022-23 Warren will no longer have Free Dress Friday’s instead students can wear uniform bottoms and the University of their choice shirts (or uniform top).  Warren students are university bound and we would like to celebrate this by looking forward to the day they start higher education.  Students can wear any university t-shirt they would like, U of Arizona, UCLA, and even ASU.  We are adding khaki-colored pants/shorts/skirts to the uniform bottoms.  There will be Free Dress and Spirit Days throughout the year.

Breakfast and lunch will continue to be FREE for all Warren students.  Parents and Guardians DO NOT need to fill out any paperwork.  If you need any help with uniforms and/or food, please reach out to Mary Quinones at Mary.Quinones@tusd1.org or 520-908-4762.

It is very important that your children are on time each day.  Tardiness is not acceptable and has a negative impact on their learning.  The bell for students to line up, rings at 7:42 a.m.  Start of school bell rings at 7:45 a.m. Students are considered tardy after the 7:50 a.m.  All tardy students must sign in at the front office and receive a tardy admit slip to class.

Warren is committed to providing every Wildcat a safe and successful education.  Parents we need your collaboration, involvement, ideas, and support.  Feel free to call me at 520-908-4700 or email me at Jill.Ronsman@tusd1.org.  You can stay informed about our school and upcoming events by visiting our website at https://warrenes.tusd1.org/  or https://www.facebook.com/tusdWARREN
